THE ART OF

ADVENTURE

— where canvas captures the evolution of creative self-expression.

Hi, I’m Saba.

Welcome to my digital gallery.

Each painting begins as an uncharted frontier—where my inner world meets my outer experiences, moving together in a symphony of color, texture, and motion. Within this eclectic body of work, I have the privilege of witnessing my own evolution most directly: the versions of me that emerge through life experience, travel, relationship, and collective events.

Here, I explore my authenticity, courage, breakdowns, fortifications, passions, aesthetics, and ever-expanding capacity to be ecstatically alive. My painting practice is where I come to know myself. It is the safest place for me to feel what needs to be felt, and where I continuously learn to make beauty from both the magic and the mess of life.

The sudden pivots you see in style or theme arise spontaneously. Almost none of the work is premeditated—yet it is all connected through trusting my intuition and allowing natural impulses to move me in the ways that feel most true.

This is my adventure, and I’m honored to share it with you.

With love,

Experience

I’m a painter, writer, and small business consultant. I studied oil painting and art history at the University of California, Davis, and held my first solo exhibition at the Tim Collom Gallery in Sacramento, California, at age 22.

My creative path has been wide-ranging and deeply experiential. Over the years, I’ve taught yoga, worked in professional kitchens, and owned and operated two restaurants, where I led branding, product development, and spatial design. Before returning fully to painting, I spent a brief chapter as a food and travel writer, with work published in Austin Monthly, Southern Living, Texas Monthly, and other digital outlets.

I came home to painting in 2023. It is now the central pillar of my creative life and well-being—a practice that continues to shape how I see, feel, and move through the world.
